I just want to thank everyone for lighting candles and leaving tributes for Benji - it means the world to me. I am sorry I dont come on here very often but i find things very hard at times. Thank you each everyone of you angels. love Krystle x
Benji was a Cavalier King Charles, ruby. He was the most special dog in the world and one of my best friends along with my sister Leanne. I had never had a pet before and my mum and dad bought Leanne and i Benji he was the best present ever. We chose Benji because he was small and therefore could not jump on Leanne's chair, very placid and loving. Leanne loved to hear Benji bark and run around having his mad half hour.
Benji was part of our family, he loved to be around people and enjoyed his food watching when food was being prepared Benji was right behind my dad cooking dinner. Waiting for the scraps to drop.
He loved his walks on the beach in Mablethorpe where he spent the last years of his life and enjoyed the sand but not to keen on the sea. Benji wouldn't fetch things like normal dogs but he would do anything for a cuddle on your lap.
I know that Benji is now safe with my sister and the two of them have been reunited and i am sure Leanne is still laughing every time he barks. Leanne looked after Benji and Benji looked after Leanne, stay safe together in heaven and i look forward to seeing you both again in the future. My love and thoughts will always be with the two of you.
